First Day of School - Minimum Day
On Thursday, September 9, 2010, is the First Day of School for all students. This is a Minimum Day. Students are released at 12:30 pm.
USE OF CELL PHONES IN CLASSROOMS:
El Camino High School has a ZERO TOLERANCE for electronic devices. Whereas students are allowed to bring cell phones to school, cell phones may NOT be used during class time. Cell phones may be used only before school, snack, lunch and after school. Cell phones and other electronic devices will be confiscated and will ONLY be returned to the student’s legal parent or legal guardian. A second offense will also result in the cell phone or electronic device being returned at the end of the school year. Other
electronic devices such as IPOD’s, walkmans, etc. are not allowed on campus at any time and will be confiscated and only returned to the student’s legal parent/guardian.
DRESS CODE REMINDER:
All students must adhere to the El Camino High School Dress Code. Appropriate dress is required at all times. You will be sent home if you are in Dress Code violation. Sandals are also NOT allowed and NO HATS of any kind. ALL hooded clothing MUST have the hoods off of your head. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Brown or Mr. Tovar
STUDENTS LATE TO SCHOOL
Reminder: If you are late to school, you must sign-in with security. Remember to print your correct name legibly. If your name is not on the clipboard or it is not legible, it is an automatic truancy.
