Adult School registration is here! See Ms. Mejia at snack or lunch only to register. Don’t miss your opportunity to get caught up on your credits so you can graduate and earn your high school diploma. Fill out a Request to See a Counselor form ( get it from a teacher) so she can call you into the office to meet with her. Registration is Tues/Thurs from 5pm-8pm at the Excelsior Adult School campus.

The cost for replacement I.D. cards is $5.00 each. Cash only and exact amount ONLY. Pay for your replacement I.D. card in the main office, then go to Mrs. Avila’s office, rm 31 to take your replacement i.d. You need your receipt in order to get your i.d. taken again. The main office will give you a receipt.

On Monday, 9-3-18, is Labor Day. This is a national holiday and is observed across the nation. El Camino High School will be closed this day only. School will resume on Tuesday, 9-4-18, beginning at 7:50 a.m.

August 29, 2018, beginning at 8:00 am through 2:00 p.m. Any minor
students (16-17 yr ) MUST have a parent consent form signed prior to

August 2018 Scholarship Deadlines are approaching!

There are 8 plus pages of scholarships available on the El Camino High School website, Under the Academic Tab, College & Career Readiness - August 2018 Newsletter. If you plan to attend College, Trade School, etc., you can find many scholarships available for you that you would qualify for and can complete the application process on-line at the websites provided. Each month this newsletter is updated for our El Camino High School students. Copies of this are always available at the school site in all the offices and in the senior classes. Check it out and start filling these scholarship applications out so you can get some free money to further your education after high school graduation!

In order for El Camino High School students to park on NLMUSD property (El Camino High School), they MUST HAVE A CURRENT STUDENT PARKING PERMIT AT ALL TIMES. Any student in violation of Parking Permit Rules and Procedures and without a CURRENT SCHOOL YEAR Student Parking Permit, is subject to having their car towed immediately! Student Parking Permit applications are on this website under the Students tab (on the main page). They are also available on the counters in the main office and in the Data Office, Rm. 21. Every El Camino High School student who wants to park in the Parking Lot, MUST have a current Student Parking Permit on the car and filed with the main office.

Aug. 16 is First Day of School for All NLMUSD Campuses

The first day of school is Thursday, Aug. 16, 2018. All 28 campuses in our district, which encompasses the cities of Norwalk, La Mirada and a portion of Santa Fe Springs, are still accepting new students.
